Yeah, stuff is starting to crop up already & I've still only got half a trike!
Alright then, shall we say the 29th April then & see who thinks they can make it. Anyone definitely can't make it?

That's great -cos you're in charge of the catering!  Wink
Must get a map out & remind myself of where MonkeyWorld actually is! For us here in Basingstoke I'd imagine it'll be down the M3 to Southampton then the M27? If so, maybe arrange to meet up at Rownhams Services on the M27?

Yeah, I read that quote & thought of us too!
Haven't got a map to hand. Does your 338 route intersect ours anywhere? If we're going on a run we ought to meet up somewhere before MonkeyWorld eh?

O.K, so a nicer riding route would be via Salisbury then the 354? Maybe arrange a meet somewhere in Salisbury then? The whole point is to enjoy the ride as a group isn't it, rather than all just arriving there from different directions? A pub or burger bar or services would be best I guess, so those that arrive first can sit & wait with a cuppa? This is a joint trip guys so speak up & make some suggestions. I'm assuming most of those that contributed to the sponsorship will be up for the ride, plus as many more as we can mustor along the way.
I don't remember that big green arrow above MonkeyWorld when I was last there!

If you come down the A303 to the A338 and chuck a left there is a small vilage called Cholderton, that would be a great place to meet, just need someone to do a drive through and see if there is a cafe or truckstop close to there.

Between Amesbury & Salisbury? Fine by me. Just point me in the right direction when you're ready! I'm off the road for another week or so but will take a trip out there as soon as poss.

It's just before Amesbury, but i guess anywhere on that stretch of road would be good.
