Date is 29th April. Postcode of Monkey World is BH20 6HH (in case you want to see where it is)
I reckon we need to start thinking about this - I'm already getting dates in my diary, plus I work a lot of weekends and people will be scrabbling to get their leave in for next year soon! (Tho as yet I don't have my shift pattern for next year)
What month are we looking at?
And there's the other project as well, the Cornwall one - what are we calling that? And are we going to camp somewhere (well some of us) or organise it round a rally? (with a B&B nearby of course!)

At last -someone responsible & all organised like! O.K, whad'ya reckon? Personally, the MonkeyWorld run would have to be on a Sunday cos I have to work on Saturdays. How about you lot? I've just been vaguely saying Spring cos I thought it'd give all us bods beavering away in sheds & garages time to get our rides built, registered & sorted. Might also guarantee some decent riding & barbequeing weather too. Late April/early May? Definitely want to do the Cornwall trip but may have to take a Saturday off sick -I can feel an icky bug coming on in mid Summer already! Up to you chaps & chappesses. Some input please.  Â

Later the better for me, not only because of the build, but due to health problems cold camping don't do me no good, and not sure exactly what the crashing situation is going to be at Toad's, as in inside or camping in the garden lol

Manky don't do camping! If I'm going to Cornwall overnight it's definitely a B & B for me!

Anyone got a 2007 calendar to hand? We'll probably have something entered in the Shepton Mallet show, which is usually the first weekend in May, so that's out for us Basingstoke bods, then the show season gets underway & people start being busy. How about the last weekend in April? Maybe we should check MonkeyWorld's not shut then too?!

I could probably manage Sunday 29th April. As a matter of fact I have monkeyworld listed in my favourites. It says they're open 10am - 5pm, (6pm July and August). http://www.monkeyworld.co.uk/main.php

O.K, well that's a starting point. Who thinks that's a good date? Anyone want it later in the year? Not much point going earlier cos the weather'll be crap & it's no fun trying to barbeque in the rain -plus of course, we're going to visit the monkies so need a reasonably warm day so that they're not shut indoors. I'm fairly easy -so I'm told. What do you lot want to do?

I gotta work out what my shifts are for next year - hope it's a quiet night at work then I'll get a chance to do it! But it sounds like a good date cos I already got 2 weekends booked up in May!
