A sad day, condolences to the family, puts my mild arthritis and aches and pain into perspective, let us know how we can donate .

It is a shock. I knew Mark was ill but I didn't realise he could go just like that. My heart goes out to his family who I am sure have been living with this knowledge for a while.

Mark was a lovely chap and like Twisted said, many of us got to meet him at Monkey World last December and at Basingstoke this year. At Monkey World he brought along his wife, his daughter and his granddaughter and they really enjoyed the day even though it was December! Mark was fairly new to MMM then and it gave him a chance to put faces to a few names.

One way to honour Mark might be donating to the GIST support group which I believe the Juggins family are part of. As this cancer is rare they need as much help as possible for research and to support those who are in the club! Perhaps Andy you could suggest this to Teresa. I would also like to attend his service if I am able and if Teresa is happy for any of us to do so.

As Mendalot says, it was nice of Teresa to let us know when she and their family are dealing with their own grief.

A reply from Mrs Markju:

Hi Andy
Thank you for your lovely reply. Mark had a rare type of cancer called GIST. It was in his stomach and it spread.
I remember you bringing the T-shirt over -he put it on as soon as he could.
Yes, he did go to your stand at Basingstoke transport and he had fun.
He liked the forum and was enthusiastic too.
Thank you for saying he was liked by everyone
I met a few members this year with Mark and they were all very lovely.
I agree he was a nice guy.
I really don't know what to say
I will be very happy to let you know when his funeral arrangements are.

Thank you Andy

And thank you for reading this as I didn't know if anyone could or would reply and I'm glad you did.
Thank you again

Teresa Juggins x

I'll be there.
I don't like to keep bothering his wife, but could you ask his daughter for the name of the undertaker, so we can organise a wreath or flowers please Jay.
