Title: rialto alternator

anybody have any close-up pics of a Rialto alternator trying to get mine back on but it's so long since I took it apart and not sure how it goes and whether I need any spacers any help appreciated

Long spacer at the back. Short spacer at the lower front. No spacer upper front.

thanks for the pics can you tell me how long the spacers are  I don't seem to have any so if you can give me dimensions I can make some ,how close is the alternator to the exhaust pipe where it meets the manifold thanks again

Can do tomorrow but spacer lengths might depend on make of alternator. Best way I've found in the past is to assemble with long bolts, no spacers, adjust until the fan belt is aligned, measure the gaps and make spacers to suit.

The long spacer on mine is 35.5mm, well actually 35mm + 0.5mm shim. Can't measure the short front one without stripping it out due to it's location.

thanks for that I will set up as you said and give them a measure
