Picked up this one yesterday.

Has marzzochi shocks, a piper 2 - 1, electric ignition etc etc. Last on the road before I was born in 84 and the paperwork suggests I'm the second owner.

Has compression and the oil looks clean, so hopefully plugs and a battery will start it.

And I got it for free.

Looks brilliant Archie, quick wipe down with an oily rag and fresh petrol = good to go. It's such a survivor. Good to see the workshop yesterday as well Smiley

Problem is I like everything.

Except how it currently is really.

Makes sense to get it running first and find out what's what, but I hate the tail unit, the seats too squishy and physically it's too small really.

Just trawling pictures at the moment of xs's, but I think it would lend itself to a tracker style really well.

Strangely enough, I like the tail unit. my back likes a squishy seat and physically I'm smaller than you. All problems solved Grin
