Yup mostly cars of sorts but something for everyone. They do have a bike section and the Basingstoke boys went on their trikes. Well worth a day out and a very full day out it is.

ITS OFFICIAL!

My nephews scout group are 'organising' (for want of a better word), the car park!  Bless their little woggles.  Daniels leader, Skip, was hoping to raise £500 this year, so they're chuffed to bits with SSR donating £600 for their efforts on the day.  I wonder how many 10 year olds know how to park cars!  Mmmm, best we park in the arena me thinks.

Prepared for all weathers then LOL. We will be there too and armed with our Red brolly. I can't believe that we were in T-shirts for this one last year.

Everyday this week I've checked the weather forecast for Friday, and everytime its says different!  Dave and I are full of cold.  >:(  Jacko was hoping to take the trike tomorrow as well!  Last year was a beautiful sunny hot day and I got my nose burnt   ;D

Ooops, forgot to mention my Ford scarf in the checklist!  ;D

Sorry we've not been on line much but trying to load and sort through everyone's pics has taken us all night.

Lunatic - 143 photos.

Total - 1060 photos sorted.

We now have them on Manky's computer and will sort out the gallery tomorrow as we are off to bed. Manky has to be up at 3.30 to go to work and I'm working too.

PS when we do get the gallery on please be patient as it will take a while for the photos to load before you can view them.

i thought we were gonna get very wet yesterday but it turned out to be a brilliant day, spent most of the time talking to friends as everybody was there, so many monkeys with cameras i think im going in disguise in future, ;D

Nice write up Manky, and yes I do chuffing love Hotrods, in fact the more traditional Hotrods I see and builders I meet I find myself drifting further and further away from bikes.

Just to let those that contributed to the photo's know that we've had a compliment from the NSRA site from scrap yard dog, "great photos just in case you did not know".

They are great photos - it's interesting too to see the different way people take their photos - as well as the fantastic variety of motors!

That's almost what we said. Because we all have different tastes we've covered most things at the show.

Same reason I try to persuade people to write their own words for vehicle write-ups. Not just laziness on my part, not just that anyway. I think it makes it more interesting for readers if there's a variety of writing & photography styles.

I agree!  I edit our club newsletter and feel the same - and I'm always sorry when people say they're no good at writing stuff, cos they usually are!  Their grammar and such might not get 10 out of 10 if they were at school but it's what they say and the fact that they say it the same as they talk, which is great.

   10 out of 10, for what it's worth, first class broad based coverage. I've been looking at US coverage of shows that we visited and it's made to look very amateur by what you have put together. I can't believe that it is Andover tommorrow, we went down there last year, and that was just like last week, I was planning to have the chassis finished by Christmas (sound familiar ?) and that's last Christmas now !

We're off to the Andover vehicle show in about half an hour, (Taz's BMW's supposed to be on the owners club stand), so hopefully see the MMMotors reporting crew there.

At the last minute we were hassled into going to Crondall rock and roll on Saturday night, and I must have had the same conversation with everyone I spoke to!  Wheels day and the amount of photos on the Manky site!  They couldn't believe it!!!  Honestly the amount of times I had to find a scrap piece of paper to write out the website address was amusing.  More business cards please Manky, when you have them.

We've got to hook the printer up to Taz's new laptop then we'll crank out a load more Janie, promise.

If you put them on the site as a download, people could print their own. 

Ok will try and sort something for the site just will take more than just 5 mins.

I thouyght when I was posting that - it's easy to say.............  but then you and Manky are becoming so expert!   ;D

I've got the printer working so now have a new batch of cards. We've decided it's just easier to post a batch of cards out for members who want them. Just PM me or Manky and we can send next day.
