Never noticed that the lights change colour in this underpass before.

very clever, confusing, but clever. I will have to visit the subways of Plymouth, however I may get mugged or propositioned.  8)

Now that's art. You could give Tracy Emin a run for her money with these pics.  :)

A lot of the subways here are muralled. We have lots of roundabouts, ("Donut City" in the days of CB radio), which often feature sculptures of some sort too. Makes the place more interesting.

It's nice that you post the pics you take on your travels. It's interesting and it's nice to see what other places are like or what ideas they have (like todays stones).  The flowers that were left to cheer people up always stick in my mind.  :)

It's not the prettiest area in the world, but little acts of random cheerfulness can really make a difference to your day. :)

Our old dog with paint on its tail could give Tracy Emins a run for her money. :D

we had a great subway, linked the city with the Hoe. It was mosaiced and told a history of Plymouth, loosely. The the powers who be, decided to fill it in and open the city up. Now its a windy desolate place except when the sun shines, so not that often.
