 Roll Eyes Actually the solid brake lines were my idea. When I saw manky's flexable ones I said not on mine. The solid pipe would be more in keeping with the style of my trike. so ner ner ne ner ner  Tongue Now go to bed you two with no supper.  Grin

Hi all, new here and just saw this thread, hope I'm not too late:
May I suggest steel, better yet, stainless? Reason being, copper 'work hardens' & develops stress risers from flex & vibration, then sudden catastrophic failure, no warning. Most concentrated vibration at fittings, plus that's already been work hardened by flaring tool. Don't want anybody getting hurt....
