Thanks guys. You are so right Ron.
Manky and I spent the day at Brooklands with Dave2lanes and the Mopar Muscle Association, (MMA). I'm now a lot more hopeful and optimistic than I was last night and am excited about getting the thing home so I/we can get started on it. We spoke to several people today and all were fantastic with plenty of advice and tips. Not one said we've done the wrong thing by buying it. In fact some said it was better as a couple of people weren't happy with some areas of their cars as they did not do it themselves and at least by doing it the way we are we will end up with a proper muscle car done exactly how we want it done.
Dave gave me a disc today with all the info we will need to get this thing on the road so that and the laptop will be going to work with me, (no internet unfortunatley).
Also I got to drive Dave's 440 Hemi Charger on the Brooklands historic banked track with Manky as my co-pilot. Ok we didn't get to floor it but had to line up for a photo shoot and Dave had paid for a Concord experience ticket so he couldn't drive it so I was
forced to do it. What a shame
Anyway I'm very hopeful and really really looking forward to joining in with future Mopar events. As Derek said "It'll be yours next year"
Also Dave thinks I'm the first female member of the MMA to actually own and drive a Charger. How cool is that.
