manky can u tell me how long are the front frame tubes from where the front engine mounts r welded on to where the headstock joins on taz,s trike cause i think i have cut mine too short just need something to compare lenght too

Hiya. Taz's measures 21 inches from the centreline of the bottom tube, (where the engine mounts are welded on), to the centre of the headstock. We're using a QuickBob tank on Taz's frame, which sits astride the top tube, unlike my Sportster tank which perches on top of the top tube. So we don't have to worry so much about the angle of the top tube cos it won't be seen with the tank in place. It'll run parallel with the top of the engine to give us as much room as possible to work on the top end. The height of the front downtubes is really dictated by the length of the forks & the angle you want them to sit at.
