I was wondering about the wisdom of some serious engine upgrades.

It is a 1600 twin port totally stock save a Webber 36 carb and a set of Mega Cannon exhausts.

I have been recommended to put on a 009 distributer with electronic ignition and uprate coil.
I looked through SSP and found a Petronix distributer that has the Petronix II electronic ignition included, add in a Flamethrower coil for same and uprated leads as well. Its about £280 all in.

Is there a better way to get more pull at all revs, better econemy and higher revs from engine when needed?

For similar OR less money

Bad on 2, 3 or four wheels.

Educate the uneducated and ignore the stupid!!!!!

Keep the revs up and the front wheel down
