got a xj 900 engine up for sale with all the bits on it, was wondering if you stripped out a reliant and put the 900 engine [shaft drive] via a short prop close to the back axle could you get it to wheelie.front would be very light without engine n box. would the engine fit behind the axle?, cant recall how much rooms behind the wheels bodywise. did i read that some bike trikes have to flip the Axel anyway to make it drive the right way so engine behind would go right. could run oil pipes to front to keep it cool, would the pump manage the volume.. could lower it and make it rigid at the back so short prop wouldn't be a prob.need sprung front to absorb it landing.. look pretty  cool lowered down, could even chop the roof and stiffen it with a tube frame and leave it with half doors to keep the work down, the tailgate glass and rear windows, if a saloon are flat glass so would prob line up....be easy to set clutch and throttle to reliant pedals and a gear link would be easy to do to a very short gear stick.could be made very light, nice alloys set right up in the arch's with been rigid would all so look good. as said in sale advert you could do the disc brake thing.. bet it wouldn't be outta the realms of some on here to do a front disc set up.
