Making sure that the arms are at the optimum relative positions.
Think it's 90 degrees to the rod that each arm is attached to at the straight ahead position.

some progress!!!!! not a lot though!!!
seat base. back rest just temporary.
view from passenger seat, going to be a split screen.
decided to roll the window surrounds, and fit sliding windows further inside to hopefully give it a better shape.
got to weld and dress along the edge.
pedal assembly, adapted from a discovery.
and just an idea at present.

I see you got your extra head room.
That disco pedal assembly look handy Chris. I assume there wasn't room for the standard accelerator pedal.

you noticed the extra headroom then? lol seemed easier than raising the roof!!!!
throttle cable connects straight up, so bonus there.

just cannot afford new tools/materials that have been ruined by the rain that came through roof when it let go when i

Hope your tools manage to survive the dousing with water. Remove the battery's from anything like meters or power tools and take the covers off things like your mig and let it all dry out. A hair drier or fan heater helps.
