Hey Mouse did the hubs on your dolly get warm?  Mine do and I was told I shouldn't go more than 60mph with it!

Tanya always remarks on that when we're out in the car, (she has an HGV 1 lorry driving licence). Amazing how many vehicles go past on the motorway towing trailers at well over 70mph. Usually cars on trailers being towed by pick-up trucks or builders' vans towing trailers full of equipment.
I was recently passed by an Audi estate pulling a caravan. He must've been doing around 90. Crazy.

Really meant I was told not to do more than 50 - I did know the speed limit for towing on the motorway was 60 but was told to keep it down to 50 with the small wheels.

the axle/wheel bearings will have a max rpm rating. thats why they'll get hot at higher speeds

The first signs of the wheel bearing is getting to hot,
Is it throwing the grease out over the wheel,if it's not doing that don't worry about it.

No grease getting chucked out, so no problem!  Onward to Scotland tomorrow, probably no more updates from me till I get back to Soutport after the rally though I! Sure Fifer will give you my news.
