Well ERICC, Happy Birthday. I do have a sneaking suspicion that is why you joined this week, to get a birthday mention, especially such an important one. Unfortunately a mention is all you get. The cake on your profile page is just to look at, sitting and licking the screen can be quite risky - moisture and electricity and all that. just monkeying around here
spot the deliberate mistake
a screwdriver will not undo an allen head bolt
and apparently this pillar driller thingamy needs to be turned on to make it work
so I tried whispering sweet monkey nothings in it's ear and gently stroking it's chuck but that didn,t work
any ideas as how to make this happen

Hello Ericc. Good to see you. You look just like the mother outlaw on a real good day.
You said that you can't undo an Allen headed bolt with a screwdriver but I beg to differ. The method is this.....
1) take a large flat blade screwdriver, preferably one with the end of the shaft through the handle.
2) place the blade in the end of the bolt.
3) smack the living be Jesus out of the end of the screwdriver with a big hammer, until the blade is a good fit.
4) you may ( or may not depending how tight the bolt is) be able to undo the bolt.
If it still won't undo give it to a ate to undo for you while you have a nice cup of tea and some Jaffa cakes.

the first question I must ask is she a free agent and would she find it acceptable to have poo thrown at her as this sodding drilly thingy seems very unresponsive

I'm no expert but I would have thought that too many "bananas and jaffa cakes " will severely effect the consistency and thus the effective range of any excreta based projectiles ...... ? ......... .. Hagar .. |
