Been hunting for this thread & finally found it on page 20 of the Trike Tech forum -shows how long it is since we looked at Taz's project.
This one's gone into storage in the shed at the end of the garden until we get the time to do something with it. Unfortuantely the shed leaks like an indoor Niagra Falls, so the bright steel of the frame & brand new fuel tank's now heavily scarred with rust. Nothing that can't be shot blasted off, but still demoralising to see.
Why have I dug up the thread? I picked up a pair of classic tractor footplates from Ebay a few weeks ago for a bargain price of £1.04. The seller didn't want to post them cos they were quite heavy, so we arranged for him to meet up with PantherShaun at this weekend's HotRod Hayride. That fell through & I got a text from him this evening saying I called at Clandon Park, (the National Trust estate we live on), but couldn't find your cottage -so I've left them under a conifer tree, next to a horse paddock, just past the garden centre.
So I've just been out on a treasure hunt. Found 'em.  Cheesy
I was looking for some Harley style footboards, but Taz's trike is going to be kinda tractor themed, so these will do the job nicely.

Certainly.
They're now covered in a layer of rust from sitting in the shed at the end of the garden.
Hang on. I'll nip out & photograph 'em now...
