been in contact with some one i havnt dealt with for around 20yrs ,,i ac tually thought he,d packed up /retired, DB.MOTORS at lutterworth. a very knowledgeble man ,,most helpfull and very, understanding, looks like he has just about everything in stock,,,,,but, it will mean a complete engine rebuild to be right , i,m very shocked,, at some of the ,crud,, n, sh1te, iv,e uncovered not 100% shure why/how it ran aswell as it did ,, never take some ones word that an engine runs well and is a ,,gud un,, in this case good oil pressure means its full of ,crud, so the pressures good because the oil can,t go anywhere

You know what folks on here always say Mike - walk away for a while, don't think about it for a bit.
Then go back when you're not wanting to kick it, and make the decision in cold blood.
And if you do sell it, for god's sake get something that's roadworthy and you can have a bit of fun with!

That's a shame. Weldable? Maybe easier and cheaper to fit a Rover V8 into Emily than to try to sort the 260. At least the 215 is easily available and reliable.

Getting older but no wiser! Just using bigger hammers. The answer to most problems, fire and lots of it.
