Teetering on the edge of insanity

Mate of mine has an old BSA A7 I think and he needs to change the polarity from + earth to negative earth, any one?

I know this can be done by flashing but for the life of me I can't remember how.

Fit the dynamo in place, but dont connect the leads, then connect a large cable from the positive side of the battery and touch it several times to the terminal on the dynamo marked F, you`ll see a small harmless spark, hi ho and away you go.
OOOh happy memories of times gone by.
