or, how i'm spending the rest of my life/cash.

hey my names ben but most call me chewie(re-intro)
finally sick of thinking about this trike so now will talk about it. hopefully that will spill into BUILDING it.

will be a VW powered monstrosity but wont have that big bum.
i hapen to have recentlt killed the engine of my subaru l series 4wd so theres my gearbox.
the beast is eventually going to look somewhat like this

my trike build...........

but not Tongue
will be doing the empty gearbox witha drive shatft thingy to put the engine way out front
been adding up the custom machining that this jobber needs (axle housings caliper brackets stearing neck etc) and cant wait to burn some steel.
i have to apply for permission from the transport authority before i start and an engineer will be employed to sign off on all design and construction(required)
well, pics will come as i take 'em

That's a nice concept Mr. Chewie, in the "Swedish" style of trikes, yeah, I like that idea almost as much as I dislike the more common "Tail-Happy" style of Beetle/Porsche trike you see around, ugly buggers!!............Morrag

non update
got all the bits ive accumulated sofar into the shed. needs a slight tidyup and some wiring (im a sparks by trade) before the real work can be done. i'm killing time at work but i'll post a snap or 3 of the engine in its current state, hasnt run since the 70's!! turns by hand tho so it may be worth a rebuild.
ah well, still thinkin more then doin
