As BG said, require direction of rotation depends on the engine. As far as I'm aware, Honda have the shaft on the RH side while Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha have the drive shaft on the LH side. This means that the Honda shaft rotates in the opposite direction to the norm.
Most inline car engines (not all) rotate in a clockwise direction when viewed from the front and the props do the same. This is why when triking a Honda the axle has to be flipped. The ford axle input rotates the same as the Reliant. Clockwise when looking at the input flange.
Sorry Olds. You don't need to flip the axle on a honda. You do on the others you mentioned. so a reliant axle and if ford ones rotate the same then they don't
