Rock n roll legend Chuck Berry has died, aged 90.
Long live Rock n Roll.  :'(

At least he lived a long life. Let's hope it was mainly happy. It was definitely eventful.  :)

Charles Edward Anderson Berry.
One of the first LPs I bought was "Motorvatin'". No money down's one of my favourite tracks, though for years I was convinced it was titled Motorvatin' as that's the opening line -"as I was motorvatin'". It wasn't on this album.

Cruising and playing the radio, with no particular place to go. I can hear it now, out driving around with the roof down on warm summer evenings. OK it was only a Vitesse convertable, but we all thought we were "cool"  8) 8)

I have an album I bought when I was still at school - or maybe just after I left when I started earning...  wonder what it's worth now?
