Title: Yam xs850 fuel query
Post by: tbone on July 29, 2008, 01:30:09 PM
The old xs850 tank has twin petcocks fitted, one feeds each side of the middle carb. Wanna fit a new, single tap tank, so, do i........
a) fit a t-piece in the fuel line and still have two inlets but from a single tap
b) run with a single feed to the carb and blank the other one
c) drill 3 holes in the tank and fit a second tap

(please say a  :D)

I'd go with A, then if it doesn't work, you can try B or C.
