Title: Rods on the road
Post by: Manky Monkey on July 01, 2017, 08:11:01 PM
Always nice to see custom vehicles actually being used & not just taken directly to a show then straight home again. Don't often see hotrods here in Basingstoke, but I've spotted several lately.
This slightly battered but well used Rover engined fibreglass roadster parked next to me in the local supermarket carpark this afternoon.

Must be local then. I've also seen a very nice beige/rust coloured '32 3 window coupe in Attwood Close, a metallic burnt orange/copper coloured '32 in Blackbird Close & a 2 tone red & white mark 2 Consul in Old Basing.
I'm told there's also a green Pop pick-up in South Ham, but I don't believe that one exists!

Sounds like you've been casing their driveways. I hope none get stolen.   ::)

Very true. Paul my brilliant Postie knows what I buy online and with my normal shopping as he often offers to help me carry the shopping in if we appear at the same time. TMI perhaps.   :-[   :D
