Got the frame welded up over the weekend so spent half the day sun and today (mon) fettling and d spattering the frame.
My mate turned up and said he had found a tame sandblaster so threw the frame in the van and off we trot.
Turned up in a little industrial estate asked the guy how much and when the answer £20 and 20 mins wow another result

Why thank you my good man

So i decided seen as i had it sandblasted id best put some paint on it (not that i know owt about that) ive had a paint gun and some paint that i was going to paint my camper with. Long story short that never happened. so got set up in my garage and had a go. just put two coats of rustolem primer on and to be honest i was quite pleased with the result  Grin

Thank you very much im rather pleased with the results so far. ive never painted with a spray gun before and found it a bit tricky to get into all the cracks and crevices  Smiley

Looks great! I love the colour & as you say, it wasn't built to blend into the traffic.

Well Andy it was modeled on your design
No pics today just flatted off the few paint runs then another coat on top and you guessed it more runs  Roll Eyes i think im getting worse at this painting lark  Grin

Took the axle and a few more bits to the sandblaster today
Oh and note to self if your going to drain the oil out of the diff do it before the sandblasting  Grin
