I'm trying to answer a question on the Chopperbuilder forum Which way does a Reliant engine turn, looking at the crankshaft pulley (front)?
By the way, try www.chopperbuilder.co.uk

Probably gonna make myself look stoopid here -my Reliant's been off the road for a year now & the memory's getting a bit fuzzy! -but I'm fairly sure it spins clockwise as you're looking at the front of the engine. Haven't got a manual to hand here at the moment, but the prop turns the opposite way to most bike engines if that's any help!

I'll check with Flap -his engine's wired up now so he can turn it over on the button. I'll let you know tomorrow if that's O.K

Right, Flap's been out & checked his & I was right -the crankshaft turns clockwise as you're looking at the front of the engine.
