I actually enjoy taking the trike for it's MOT. This is because of the cool vehicles at the garage.
V8 Ford Pilot. also there, was a Ferguson tractor (TE20 ?) A Ford model AA truck and a Thorneycroft Truck.
Oh, the Pilot is a pickup truck.
Sweeeet.

Cliddesden garage, just outside Basingstoke? He was restoring a Thornycroft tanker last time I was there.

Yep. He's really into Thorneycroft vehicles and the history. I used to walk to school along the railway line that ran through the works. My mother worked there after the war. He is also restoring another tow tug made by Lansing Bagnall where I did my apprenticeship.

ICI Ltd. used Lansing fork trucks where I served my time, and one of the workshop mates never quite managed to get his tongue around the name, and insisted they were Glancing Bagnettes, why? I have no idea now any more than then.... thought you should know that.....
