Hello Kev ! Standard rake and fork height. The hardtail is a TC Bros one which I think keeps it stock - http://www.tcbroschoppers.com/yamaha-xs650-weld-on-hardtail.htmlSays its a 3 inch stretch and 5 inch clearance Sitting on it is a much more chilled comfy feeling whereas the other one is quite an aggressive hooligan feeling

Touched this one today. Swapped out the rubber handlebar risers with the solid ones from hughs handbuilt. Nice bits of kit. I was lazy and didn't take the top yoke off to fit them, which would of made it really really easy. XS NO 2

So been thinking about these a lot and it seems daft to half finish both of them. Especially as the sunnier weather is coming quickly. I've decided to get this one done as it was an on the road bike. So today I swapped the carbs I bought over onto it and hooked the throttle up. Full throttle = full open on the carbs so done lovely. I then gutted the wiring loom off of it ready for the one I bought the other day. It had an electronic ignition on it, but it's 20 30 years old and has massive components. So in theory once I've fitted the wiring kit it should run. I also swapped out my footpeg mounts from the other bike too. XS NO 2 XS NO 2

in a bit of a hole with this currently
I ordered up a new mudguard from barons speed shop (it's a mudguard not a fenderrrr) 1 week went by and nothing. I sent them through a message and got fobbed off by they have a system error which doesn't let them see what's ordered.
We are now 4 weeks down the line with them not responding to emails or answer phone messages - no contact at all, so don't know if something serious has happened. Luckily i've paid through paypal, but will have to wait until the 7th of march before they make a decision on if I get a refund or not.
bit irritated as I could have spent the same money getting it from the states and had it in 2 /3 days.

Nothing on their Facebook page since December. Or on the 'news' page on the website.
