Alan DR big 750 was once seen to ride his AP50 home wearing a carrier bag with a pineapple printed on it as a helmet because he'd forgot to bring his proper helmet with him  Shocked Shocked Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I know what you mean Fifer, Been there done that Shocked Shocked
But on a lighter note....sod all that running, think I'll stick to riding the trike Wink Cheesy

Have any of you seen bits of a mates scalp and bits of bone /brain left on the tarmac after they were killed when wearing no helmet .
Something I will remember till I die .
That was in the mid sixties before it became law to wear a helmet .
I have worn a helmet and gloves at ALL times since then .

Just picture yourself in the following scenario .

The fastest human sprinter can run at about 27mph .

The average person , running as fast as they can go , might achieve between 15 and 20 mph .

Picture yourself running as fast as you can with your head down and run straight into a wall with the top of your head .

Now picture yourself running as fast as you can and rubbing your face / hands along the wall .

Finally , picture yourself running as fast as you can and dive face first with your hands spread out onto the road .

Getting older but no wiser! Just using bigger hammers.
The answer to most problems, fire and lots of it.
