Hi all, in the process of converting my Gl1100 plain jane that I bought new in 1982 into a trike. I live in Hereford and have an offset Reliant axle but one of the tubes is bent quite a bit. Does anyone know of a place that will replace these tubes, hopefully with slightly thicker walls. I've heard talk of 'CDS tubing being used but this project is a bit too specialist for me. I've searched the Forums with no luck apart from some people saying they've done their own.
Thanks Barry

if you want to replace just the bent tube ring joe mason on 07973470810 he will supply you with a replacement tube for £20+£15 p&p they dont remove the tube from the diff casting they send the tube with the casting to suit the side you need you just split the axle and fit the replacement diff casting with the tube already in place

Smiley Thanks for the help, I have gone down the cheaper route at the moment and have opted for  a replacement from Joe Mason at www.reliantspares.com (Thanks Zac) Apparently I have a rare Mk1 Robin axle but he managed to sort me out a tube that should fit for £30. just needs cutting down and fitting. Also got a breather bolt from a regal axle which I shall fit to the diff as there is no trace whatsoever of the breather hole in either axle tube.
