i should know this really  Roll Eyes

to measure the length of front forks do you want them compressed, as they would be on the bike but standing or extended ?

I've only ever measured them off the bike. so uncompressed I suppose.

I usualy allow about an inch to an inch and a half dependent on the the rake.
