Flap & I went to see a mate of mine yesterday. Doug is an engineer by trade but is into customised cars & belongs to a local club called The Guzzlers. He runs a 5 litre small block Ford engined Zephyr & shares a barn with half a dozen other car nuts. I'll sort some piccies soon, (a couple of the cars are out for paint at the moment), but Doug's said he'll write some progress reports for us. I haven't heard from Yodie for a while, (his global media empire is taking  up a lot of his time lately), but hopefully he can sort out a page in the Motors section so we can present them all properly. Watch this space -or rather that space over there in the Motors bit.

Remember these guys?
Dougie of the Guzzlers car club here in Basingstoke promised me faithfully he'd give us regular updates on the progress of their cars. Still waiting. Shame on you Doug! Doug the Slug.  Tongue
Well I've just had an email from Mark Cornish with a few piccies.
I've asked him for more pics & some words to add to the Motors section. I await the response with interest! Please, please, please can I post the Humber photos?

The Moggy at the work shop is all apart now some bits have been painted (by Franz with the Opel)
its going to be dark blue new wood wide steels  f**k off metal flake roof and visor (the metal flake is
large and in the sun it looks like LED lit up)  Doug discribed the sample panel of flake as suitable for a dodgem!!
I got some pictures of the Humber in paint but best not to post them on the site unless Dave says it ok (sample attached)

I got a Orange 57 GMC V8 truck we will be putting a clip on soon  just converted it to all chrome grill bumpers etc u will see more
of that soon.

Yeah, he's been building it for almost 10 years now I think! I can't criticise him though -took my trike off the road for a quick spruce up -over a year ago now  Undecided

Perhaps we should organise a virtual online show for all the vehicles that are still off the road?!
