Just in case folk weren’t aware of these, if you do a web search for “GPS Speedometers” a whole host of various options will be before you..... Saves sorting out any form of drive mechanism, and will continue to ‘work’ when fitting wheels with different diameters. Title: Re: GPS Speedometers Post by: Olds on September 14, 2019, 05:56:18 AM Some driving schools have started using GPS based speedometers on the 'passenger' instructor side and sat navs have a built in speedo hence the 'only speedometer' comment. As long as a GPS speedometer has a non re settable mileage counter then I doubt you will have problems with MOT or Police, but .....

Title: Re: GPS Speedometers Post by: TwistedPatience on December 18, 2019, 02:18:40 PM Had a GPS speedo on the Trike since April seems ok but cant turn it off as if I do it takes about 10 mins to connect to GPS satellites and as my daily jog to work take between 3 and 10 mins its not much use if I do.
Another point is altho it has a fixed mileage after 9.999 it starts again and there's no trip meter apart from that its great. |
