I once borrowed one for a week & must admit, it was actually kinda fun in a wacky, "is it cool or totally naff?" sort of way.
You have to be careful not to slam the doors too hard though, or the deckchairs collapse inside. Tongue

Was doing a back roads run on the trike one day when I met the local 2CV club out for a run - they sure looked like they were enjoying themselves!

Bit like the Maestro Owners - it's something I've noticed before, that folks with cheaper and sometimes despised vehicles seem to get more obvious enjoyment from them than owners of posh classic stuff!

Watched MZ racing at Brands once - it was real racing but cheap and they all had a lot of fun!

So much so that for a while I was toying with the idea of getting into it! - it was BF (before leg)   Grin

 Tongue Tongue Tongue yes that 2 cv is real and I thinks its based on a triumph spitfire chassis so technically it isn't a "real" 2 cv and Rick, they race 2cv's on Tarmac, mud and in the water Grin Grin Grin how many car's can you say that about Wink

basically you take an old MZ chop it down and race it all over the country, apparently you can buy a competeitive one from about £1500 or build your own.....want to know more Huh
