You know how it is. You're constantly waiting on stuff from engineers! My sprocket carrier is being machined down by a friend and i think its going to take months.......

It's not difficult, it should take 5 minutes to set up - I want my xs rideable to hayride, but this is a bit vital to getting it there, and I don't wish to wait months as I'm poss moving to france for the winter to snowboard for 6 months....

See that's the problem. It all went into a mates workshop to get figured out and he passed it onto another mate. I shouldn't grumble as I doubt it's going to cost me anything, but I'd rather pay for it to be done if it's going to take ages.

I'm tother side if eisengard.

Basingstoke even. Lord of the rings is on.

lol. The guy is our mate from within bikes and we've used him loads, but for whatever reason it always takes a very long time to do anything.

I've been told tomorrow it should be back, but we shall see

If he's a mate or mate of a mate, who is probably doing the job for nowt, or next to ... which is again is probably why he's a little slow on returns! too many "favours" perhaps?, then stop moaning and check out what full machine shop prices would set you back!! afterwhich you might be a deal more tolerant!  Morrag, from one who's been there to often, having tried to help someone out!!
