I had the privilege to be a part of this yesterday and I had to say that altho' Tony Bennett is a complete idiot at times, he and his mate did a sterling job raising £1000 for Afghan Heros and was even on the news. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wiltshire/8566626.stm Will try to sort some photo's out this week. |

I have heard that too Pete but we are still waiting for the final amount to come out yet, the police have given a rough estimate to the number of bikes attending at approximately 40000, 22000 on the run it's self.

Tony B - we must of passed like 'ships in the night'. Your mate Bobby G took a photo of me and one of the lasses travelling down with us on the M5 services. Just tagged it on FB.
Fantastic weekend, would'nt have missed it for the world. And must say it was quit a good run out fot me from 'little old West Cumbria'.
A very special THANKYOU to the people of Wootton Bassett and the surrounding hamlets for making our welcome so memorable.
A very very emotional occasion.
