If you want adice don't try to build a 27t with a V8 , been there tried that , they look pretty awful (I think )with an overstretched wheelbase ESPECIALLY with a loooong Rover . The 23 T is much better suited to a V8 conversion . To maintain any proportsions the 27 needs a 4 pot. Original wheelbase on both T's is 100" , A goes to 103.5 and B to 106" ( which was the first to use a V8 as standard) .To get a modern twincam into mine I'm at 106" . The Rover V8 is a good 6" longer which is why I didn't use the one I had
