Don't people in mid-Wales sell their cars then Borgy?

Mike is getting a new car (new to him!) and we got to get rid of the old one - it's a Citroen BX19 diesel, brilliant engine but the rest?

Dented on all 4 corners, radiator leaks, blower doesn't always work, and the drainage channels for the sunroof are blocked so all the water ends up inside, on the floor in the back!

Reckon we'll have to pay someone to take it away!

Mike just sold it for £50!

If you sold it for that price round here it'd go to an illegal immigrant -sorry, genuine asylum seeker, or Polish immigrant worker who'd drive it round with no licence, tax, insurance or MOT until they ran into somebody then abandon it.
Cynical? Me? Yup.

This is someone he knows who just wants it for a runaround till the MOT expires - I guess £50 is ok for that.

A bargain price for a few months transport. Would cost you more on the bus.
I'm looking for an old Moggy Minor or similar steering wheel for my rod by the way if anyone has one. The early "Banjo" type -3 wire rods forming each spoke of the wheel.
