O.K, just to clear up any confusion:
Tazzie & I have been together for 7 or 8 months now. Not long in the great scheme of things I know, but long enough for her to become heavily involved in all that goes on here. She lives & works on a country estate near Guildford, drives a posh BMW, (hey, no-one's perfect), & we're quietly collecting parts for her first trike project, which she's keen to get spannering on herself.
I'm selling my flat in beautiful, cosmopolitan Basingstoke & the plan was to put the profit in the bank & move in with Taz. I got cold feet though. It's a big move after living in my own little flat for over 10 years & Taz's cottage is -well, let's just say it's a daunting prospect for someone as picky about cleanliness as me. I thought I couldn't go through with it. We split up. Several threads here mentioned the fact, including the garden clearance one.
Well, thankfully, I've been persuaded I was wrong, we can make it work & we can live happily ever after.
If you choose to share your life with your forum then you've got to show the bad as well as the good so I'm happy to announce young Tazzie & I are back on track.  Grin

I feel sick now. Grin Grin

Well done you two, even if you are all smooching and lovey dovey at the moment Undecided Grin

Urban, 9 yrs of marrage and she only cuddles me when she wants something......................................................

I seem to be the last to hear Shocked, the good  ;Dand the bad Sad, but I'm glad that you can work things out, we all get cold feet now and again mate, but you can warm them up on each other. Talking usually sorts things out.
Glad that you are both sirted out Grin Grin Grin Grin

Thank you.
Big lifestyle change for me. Got woken up at 1.30 this morning by drunken teenage morons banging on the door of the flat opposite mine, shouting for their numpty mate to let them in. Suddenly the move to the country doesn't seem so daunting.  Smiley

I don't know you...yet...but I wish you both all the best for the future. Trust me Manky...once you get used to the country you will never want to live in a city again. I envy you I must say. My house is on a busy road and I really hate this tiome of year when the boy racers are out in force. I wouldn't mind if they had decent motors or bikes but it's souped up Peugeots and stupid little boys on those bloody scooter things. Still it's not as bad as the 70s and the FS1es they were a real pest.

Good luck to you and Tazet xxx

I learned to ride on a Yamaha 125 2stroke twin real rat bike. Great fun bit a pain in the rear in the winter...oiled up plugs were the bane of my life. Always carried spare plugs and plug spanner in my Belstaff and spent many times at the side of the road changing plugs. Worst experience was a broken clutch cable at traffic lights. Pushed it round the corner and managed to ride it home, changing up was not a problem but changing down was difficult to say the least. Good fun though.
