Title: Bexhill Museum (Sussex)
Post by: cunningplan on July 20, 2010, 08:43:09 PM
While down in Eastbourne I was doing a little family research, while at the local brickworks (Which my Gr, Gr, Gr Grandad started (But sold about 1900)) I was told to go to the Bexhill Museum as they have a history section.
Its easy to find just go along the seafront and when you come to the clock tower turn inland (Depending which direction you are heading) and its about 50 yards down the road.
Its cost a huge 3 quid to get in and worth every penny.
Bexhill is know as the "birthplace of British Motor Racing" and amoung other things as a replica of one of the first race cars (Powered by steam) called the "EASTER EGG"
A few photos I took
