I honestly don't think anything much bigger would go in. I haven't altered the main part of the frame at all and when we fitted the last engine (a yammy sr125) there was very little clearance between the head and the frame.
Any how work is continuing with the rear mudguard fitted.I also went to see my MOT chap who said I don't need indicators.and I only need a brake light on one brake so that should simplify the wiring

Couple of photos rear light fitted holes for the rivets drilled by my youngest wished I had the camera with me Foot peg mounting plates made and tacked to frame Also a start made to the exhaust although this may very well change as I picked up some freebie tube bends from the place we get our pipe bent for work

I like this a lot and it's giving me silly ideas about small bikes. Too old for a café racer so maybe a full out 70s chop. Long forks, prism tank, king-queen seat and a tiny CG125 engine. Now where's that bantam frame ?

I have an early cg 125 rolling chassis rather than scrapping a Bantam The old fella (Kevsky) would shout hieratic if you chopped an old bantam up

Don't panic. I wouldn't cut up a BSA frame. It's easier to make one from scratch. Though being pre 60......
