Oooh! Nice fog horn Doc! That's brilliant, thank you. In case you're wondering, Doc's crafted us an adaptor to fit a 6" long chrome Harley bellmouth to Taz's standard Reliant SU carburettor. Looks rather spiffing. I'm going to cut up the filter on my own trike to make a foam disc to clamp between the adaptor & intake to act as a basic filter, then buy myself a new filter for my own trike. Did you manage to position the bellmouth to incorporate the choke intake as well Doc? We'll see you late Saturday afternoon as arranged to collect the goodies. Let us know how much we owe you please.

Paid a visit to my big brother Brock in deepest Wiltshire the other day & he TIG welded a few bits & bobs for me. Among them was a modified rocker cover for Madame Taz's tricycle. Her frame top tube's about the same height as mine, but the tank's wider, (aftermarket "King Sportster" compared to my standard genuine Sportster one). That meant it'd be a little fiddly to pull the rocker cover oil filler bung out. So we've cut the neck off & relocated it to the front corner of the cover at roughly 45 degrees. Brock then welded a covering plate over the old hole. With a little tidying up & some gloss black powder-coat it'll look good I think.

no idea mate, probably an hour or so arseing about to get a decent fit and weld it, right now I'm trying to push on with the race car, when that's done I might have a look at some odds and ends like that, remind me then if you're still intrested.
