Thanks you.
Looks great. I'm determined to make it out there this year, hopefully in early October for the big nostalgia meet at the Bakersfield drag track. I seem to recall you slating me for suggesting Vegas would be a great place to visit. Revised your opinion now you've been?

Used to have a poster of that when I was a youngster. Like the coastline shot below it. Err, thought Vegas was in the middle of a desert?! Is that the Hoover Dam?

Of course Vegas is in the desert - but I also went to California and saw the Pacific!

I've seen the gold Yam before but I have to admit i got a little emotional seeing it again.  Roll Eyes

And yes Mr Manky, those are two of the inlet towers at the Hoover Dam. Smiley

Can you be specific it was the Pacific?
Do those inlet towers suck up the water at the Hoover then?

Weirdo. And not totally inaccurate!

Seriously you'd love it. As I drove away from the dam, on the parallel road there was a gorgeous 32 coupe towing a little retro caravan, but I couldn't get to the camera in time.

I came back with $200 so I've kept that instead of changing it up to start off the fund for the next trip. Even got someone to hide it so I can't be tempted to nip down the Post Office and spend it.
