Title: XS 650 help

Lookin at an xs 650 that jumps out of 1st and 3rd at high revs,is this fixable/expensive to fix? Anyone know? cheers Fred

any internal part of an XS is relatively expensive. Yamaha never allowed pattern parts to be made for them and kept their own prices high. A pair of pistons cost £200 20 years ago if that gives you some idea.

What price and condition. They fetch good money so you might be able to pick up some internals for the box at a later date on ebay.

If cheap it would be worth a punt!

Cheers guys,i decided to go for it anyway.Byz,I got it for £1200 and the rest of it seems just right, what I've been looking for and I'm picking it up on Sat.Obviously I'll be changing some of it but the basic shape and stance are perfect
