been out and about in the good weather, the project took a back seat. I tried a big set of wheels on the blue one, turns out they may be to big or wide, seem to track on the road and make the whole thing twitchy at speed

lockdown has brought me back onto the red rooster build, lots of bits stored away, so decided to break the boredom and get on. Sheet aluminium work has been the main thing. Starting with the bulkhead

1.5 marine grade alloy. had to use a jigsaw ( after I repaired it ) for most cuts. My old hands and gilbow tin snips are enemies now

onto the scuttle, and the gear box tunnel. lots of time thinking about the cuts and folds, my confidence is a bit shaky after three years away from my tools

Next on the big list is the seating area. Managed to scrounge some heavy 3mm. alloy for the floor. and the reinforcement to the chassis makes it all solid.

after having a play and finding out that my fuel injection system was not playing nice, I got hold of an MX5 sender and pump dirt cheap. Bit the bullet and started by jigsawing a huge hole in my new tank
