What size does shaft drive normally start at ? I'm guessing there's not many, if any , 250 ish types ? I need to find a 20bhp (max) engine with shaft drive . I may be able to restrict a larger engine down to 20bhp so any suggestions welcome.

Might be worth looking at shaft drive quads. Only small capacity shaft drive bike that springs to mind, is the BMW 250.

Does it have to be as much as 20bhp? Didn't they do a shaftie version of the Honda step-through mopeds? Or the Yamaha equivalent?

I'd looked at Bergmans before, nice unit for a reverse trike but I need to drive a rear axle.

I'd like to make the most of the power hence I'd like the MAX of a throbbing 20.6kw Smiley
