The turquoise XS750 when I re-did it in grey. Grainy pic cos it was taken from AWOL magazine I think.

My first Reliant trike.
Used to go to the gym 7 nights a week back then. What happened to that guy. He was an idiot.

And my last Reliant, (now owned by Baychimp & slowly heading towards completion).
A little older, a little more portly, no wiser.

My Honda CB1000. At Brightona, (a bike gathering on Brighton seafront), probably 9 or 10 years ago.

I don't ever remember being this slim! Probably just after I got married, early 80s, feeding the ducks at the pond around the corner from our first flat.
I seem to have worn that cut-off Levi jacket everywhere, but with shiny leather loafers?

One of the 3 Morris Minors we owned. We bought this one for her to learn to drive in.
I couldn't understand why the exterior paint was a standard Moggy colour, but the interior metalwork wasn't. It was also missing the heater & had a zip running across the middle of the interior headlining.
After we sold it I discovered it was an ex Police "Panda Car".
They were painted a different shade of blue to normal Moggies with white doors -someone had resprayed the outside in standard colour.
They didn't have heaters cos that's where the radio went.
The zip was to access the Police sign on the roof.

Used to regularly start this with a starting handle, (remember those?), just because we could.

I remember. Ignition on, slowly turn it until you felt the compression, one quick flick round, remembering to keep your thumb out of the way.hey presto engine started.

Yes, I used to start mine with the handle, particularly in winter.  Not just because I could, but I only had a short drive to work and it wasn't enough to charge the battery specially in cold weather.  So easy to start!

I also used to leave it in our doorless garage with the handbrake OFF cos in freezing weather it would freeze on.
