Is that the 250 Scorpion? I had one once. A red one. Was a horrible thing, constantly breaking down. Rode it up to Peterborough for the BMF bike show, 2 up with a pile of camping gear -yeah, I used to camp, long, long ago. Got 5 miles from the showground & it died. I finally snapped & pushed it to a nearby village where I spotted a bloke working on a bike in his front garden. Want a free bike mate? He was undestandably wary, but took it in with the promise of the log book in the post as soon as I got home. We walked the rest of the way to the show & hitched a lift home with some mates in a van.
You weren't that bloke in the garden were you?!

I had a single cylinder Z250C which was a
brilliant
little bike. Never let me down even though I always had the throttle against the stop. Being a scruffy 250 I could leave it in the middle of London while I was working and never have to worry about it getting pinched.
