Post by: 57gmc on February 18, 2010, 12:27:02 PM
Just got another project, This car has been in the uk for over 20 years
and has been painted for over 5 years just never assembled and driven
it has a new 871 blower with twin carbs all still in the boxes
Just need to be brought up to date and have the mechanicals upgraded
to suit the power.
More pictures to follow

1968.
Very pretty -& I bet it cost less than we've spent on Taz's bare metal bodyshell!

Wonder if we can get all our "project" Chargers to Basingstoke Festival of Transport ?
now that would fill the stand.

Still looking for forum member's vehicles to show -you're very welcome to join us Sir.
Work on Taz's is still ongoing at JC Restorations & they ain't gonna let us take it home without paying our bill, so can't gaurantee hers will be there, but we'll do our best.

The Dodge has been on the back burner for a bit while i have sourced parts.
I have ordered all the bits for the engine like H beam rods, custom ground cam, hemi sump, Ali heads etc
So the engine can go to Bacca to be machined and built.
I also ordered a new rear axle, autobox and complete Air bag system with 4 link kit for the rear.
All this lot will be arriving at the end of Feb.
Further updates to follow

Coo, that's an impressive shopping list!
Taz's Charger drained us of every penny we had, just to get the bodywork professionally sorted out. Classic Yanks definitely ain't cheap. Hers is now sat in a barn in primer, waiting for me to finish my hotrod project & get back to it.
Would be interested to see yours.
