Right, this is it!  Need to know how many peeps and how many tents, for how many nights, please post or update list, but I need to know if you want me to book!  Also whether to find somewhere for Sunday night as well?

BikerGran - I bod, I tent, Fri and Sat.  Going to theatre, got an air horn!  Parp!  Easy either way about Sunday night.

Mr & Mrs ByzMax

Doc - you said you might have friends coming?

Any more for any more?

Only a week to go now!
I have taken the whole day off so will be ready when needed.
Bobbi what route are you taking past Taunton A303?

It would be helpful to know what time you think you'll be in the area so I can meet up with you and Byzmax, if we are to go down together.

(My friends that where camping have bottled out and booked a b&b for the night.)

I emailed both the campsites 2 days ago but have not replies from either.  I will try to ring them tomorrow.

Doc - I think it's probably best that you contact the sites to book your own camping.  My email to the site included booking for your friends as you said go ahead and book, who now are not camping so it's probably as well that I haven't had contact from the sites.

I don't expect to be going anywhere near Taunton, I'll look at my route tonight and let you know.

Yes, had a brief email from him, his life is hectic but he's coming and he's got theatre tickets.

Hope everyone has flags, bells, whistles, horns etc!  I got my self an air horn, it's VERY LOUD!

UPDATE!   I contacted Kelynack, they're not busy so no need to book!

Unless anyone has any suggestions it looks a bit like we won't meet up till we get to the First campsite, seems a bit of a shame but we're all coming from different directions.  I'll be heading for Sherborne first as I have an RBR Landmark to visit there, then A30 yeovil - Chard - Exeter.  Quite happy to divert a bit to meet up...

Day 2  A38 Plymouth - Bodmin - A30 Penzance - St Just.  I'll be making a couple of detours to Perranporth to the Giant Sundial and then to Chysauster Ancient Village - they'll both be interesting to see so I hope you'll come too, otherwise we can meet up at the campsite again.

Info from Minack Theatre site - I guess this one's for the yanks...

Quote
Q:
Is the theatre air conditioned or heated?

A:
The Minack is an open-air theatre. The temperature is dependent upon the weather!

And maybe useful for us..

Ticket holders may use the cafĂ© before the performance. Hot and cold drinks, and light snacks (sandwiches, filled rolls, jacket potatoes, pasties, salads etc.) are available from 6.15pm. During the interval savories, confectionery and both hot and cold drinks are available as takeaways from our two coffee shops.

Did I mention there's a firework finale?  Getting excited now!
