Sunday, April 21st. It's 10am onwards at the drive thru Krispy Kreme shop, Shannon Corner, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 4NA for hot rods, coffee and doughnuts. Arrive early and park nice.

I really wanted to take my freshly registered Pop along to this, but teething problems mean it weren't to be. So I took my daily driver & hid it round the corner.
If you've never tried a Krispy Kreme donut you really haven't lived. They're truly amazing. They have outlets in a lot of Tescos supermarkets, plus a few shops, (there's one in Guildford, Surrey), but this is the only drive through one I know of -& it comes with a monthly hotrod meet.
The first flush of Summer sunshine brought cars from far & wide today. A great turn out, with 30 or 40 bikes as well. At some point this meet's gonna outgrow it's confined parking, but hopefully not before I get a chance to drive my own rod there. A lot of muscle parked about the place, (Mopar Muscle Association, Surrey Muscle, V8 Mentalists etc), plus a variety of 50s Yanks & British classics. I followed the big woodie wagon in along the A3, looking very cool as it wallowed along in the sun.
As always, a few familiar faces to chat to. Yeah, I bought a box of donuts to take back to the guys in the workshop.
A nice way to spend a sunny Sunday morning.
First pic was pinched from the Rods & Sods forum. The rest are mine.
Stripes appear to be "in" this year!

Barmy Bond Bug. The owner's ditched the original Reliant motor in favour of a Hayabusa sports bike engine. Super fast but he says it's a bit of a handful! Steering wheel's from a Playstation game!
